This is got to be Brandon Blackstock's best Father's Day gift ever. His wife Kelly Clarkson just gave birth to a brand new baby girl, the couple revealed Saturday (June 14).

River Rose Blackstock was born Thursday (June 12), and the bundle of joy was announced via Twitter.

"Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12th! Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!!" Clarkson wrote . Blackstock hasn't tweeted or posted pictures of the baby yet, but he did retweet his wife's words.

I remember Clarkson predicting that she was having a girl. Her mother's intuition was right before she even became a mother.


River Rose is Clarkson's first baby, and her husband has two children, Seth and Savannah, from a previous relationship.

You may recall that Blackstock manages Blake Shelton and is the son of Narvel Blackstock, who manages Clarkson. And, of course, Narvel is married to Reba McEntire.

Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock were married on Oct. 20, 2013, in Walland, Tenn., a community about three hours east of Nashville. A small group of family and friends attended the ceremony at Blackberry Farm, a property located on 4,200-acre estate in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.
