Tragedy struck on Saturday 5th of July at Mambillah hotel Ikorodu Lagos when a security guard identified as Azeez Ibrahim shot dead a 22 year old undergraduate Busayo Ogunkoya.
According to Punch Busayo didn't know who was celebrating but she was invited by her boyfriend. Everything was going smoothly until Ibrahim who was drunk and was also armed with a gun which he claimed he seized from some robbers stormed the scene.
He mishandled the gun and fire a bullet which hit Busayo in the neck region she was immediately rushed to a private hospital where she was later confirmed dead.
Police arrested the Guard who shot her, assistant manager of the hotel and also her boyfriend
